FDA regulated LACF\nproducts under regulation 21 cfr Part 113.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Manufacturers\n&amp; processors of LACF are required to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fdahelp.us\/fda-food-registration.html\">register their\nfacility<\/a> with FDA as a Food Canning Establishment &amp; submit the\nscheduled process filing for each LACF product. Scheduled process filing\nprovides details of steps in production, time taken, temperatures and other\nparameters that are necessary to ensure the product&#8217;s safety. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fdahelp.us\/acidified-and-low-acid-canned-foods.html\"><strong>Acidified Foods (AF):<\/strong><\/a><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Low Acid foods\nto which acids or acid foods are added to bring the pH level to 4.6 or less are\ncalled Acidified foods.
