{"id":254,"date":"2024-01-22T21:49:11","date_gmt":"2024-01-22T21:49:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.libertymanagement.us\/fda-support\/?p=254"},"modified":"2024-01-22T21:49:11","modified_gmt":"2024-01-22T21:49:11","slug":"cosmetic-product-listing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.libertymanagement.us\/fda-support\/2024\/01\/22\/cosmetic-product-listing\/","title":{"rendered":"COSMETIC PRODUCT LISTING"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As per <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fdahelp.us\/fda-mocra-registration-listing-cosmetic-facility.html\">MoCRA<\/a>,\na responsible person is required to list each marketed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fdahelp.us\/cosmetics.html\">cosmetic product<\/a> intended for\nsale in the US with FDA and update such listing regularly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A responsible person is the manufacturer, packer, or distributor\nof a cosmetic product whose name appears on the label.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A cosmetic product listing will require detailed information\nabout the product, its ingredients, including any fragrances, flavors, or\ncolors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For Cosmetic products marketed on or before December 29,\n2022, the listing is due by no later than July 1<sup>st<\/sup>, 2024. Any updates\nmust be submitted annually. FDA expects the product listing for a cosmetic\nproduct first marketed after December 29, 2022, to be submitted within 120 days\nof marketing the product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MoCRA exempts certain small businesses from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fdahelp.us\/fda-cosmetic-registration.html\">facility\nregistration<\/a> and product listing requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, such exemptions do not apply to facilities that\nmanufacture or process, or responsible persons for, the following cosmetic\nproducts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Products that regularly come into contact with\nmucus membrane of the eye under customary or usual conditions of use.<\/li><li>Products that are injected.<\/li><li>Products that are intended for internal use.<\/li><li>Products that are intended to alter appearance\nfor more than 24 hours under customary or usual conditions of use and removal\nby the consumer is not part of such conditions of use. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some Exemptions also exist for certain products and\nfacilities that are subject to requirements for drugs and medical evices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fdahelp.us\/\"><em>Liberty Management\nGroup Ltd.<\/em><\/a><em> can help you with registration or listing under FDA MoCRA\nregulations. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Namrata <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Regulatory Consultant<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>support@libertymanagement.us<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fdahelp.us\">http:\/\/www.fdahelp.us<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As per MoCRA, a responsible person is required to list each marketed cosmetic product intended for sale in the US with FDA and update such listing regularly.
